Scholarship Opportunities

This section contains important notes about applying for scholarships, links to scholarship search engines, and information about scholarship opportunities that are received at school.  Check back regularly for recently added scholarship opportunities. 

Important Notes About Applying for Scholarships
  • It is recommended that you read through each scholarship description before completing the application to be sure you are eligible to receive it.  
  • Pay close attention to deadlines for submission. 
  • Plan ahead to allow yourself enough time to gather the necessary information and/or materials that will need to be submitted with the scholarship application.  (For example, request transcripts and scholarships in advance of the deadline.) 
  • Students are encouraged to involve parents in the search for financial aid.  Religious groups, fraternal organizations, and employers may also be sources of scholarships. 
  • Students are encouraged to inquire into the availability of institutional scholarships at the schools they are considering. 

Online Scholarship Database. Periodically, our campus is notified of certain scholarships, and those are included here. This is not an exhaustive list. Students and families should conduct their own scholarship searches as well. Please contact me at if you would like access.

Scholarship Search Engines

There are a number of free scholarship search services available on the internet.  These sites are free because they require you to share a good amount of relevant information about yourself that aids in refining your searches, but also is sold to other internet sites.  The scholarship information you receive will be very comprehensive, but you may notice an increase in the number of junk e-mail messages that you receive.
